I am warning people that if the SUPPORT is not in original position then the DIVIDER may crack. Support needs to be in the two protrusions on the divider to operate as intended. Or ditch the divider. That is what Excell told me to do. I am ditching the divider and if I am not happy with results I will install a new divider and bend back the support to fit the protrusions I have already cut a flat on that airhorn so it will fit without interfering with the support. I do not know why the divider cracked but based on the amount of wear I believe it to be from fluttering like a reed in a duck call. Bending the support enough that it wont fit in the protrusions on divider is defeating the purpose of the support and will cause this issue in my opinion. Here is some pics showing the components.
The box doesn't go together worth a #*$&@ if u don't get it back in the right spot back in those nubs..this explains a lot..I understand the post more clearly now.

Yes. Support was designed to be in those nubs. If not either because of bending or because that airhorn pushes it over I believe this will happen. No proof though other than what you see here. Seems I am the only one. For that I have no explanation. I put pics up explaining the components better.
OK I have had my air box out and apart twice to check it out for this cracking. Mine is 2015 and I swear I have only 2 pcs. An upper and a lower shell. The one "support" wall is there like we are bending, but there is no third "divider" piece to be seen.
Has anyone else had a 2015 box open to see this? I don't remember taking anything out to set aside.

Weird.
Now I have to tear the shop apart looking for this piece that may or may not exist. I do have to wonder if it really serves any true purpose?

Here. Number 5

I hope it doesnt since I cant seem to run it without issue but I will say that looking at it it sure makes sense to be in there. I cant tell difference though without it and Excell said its very little effect. Not much choice on my end.

The 2015 do have that plastic divider TD Max.

That divider does a couple things, noise and to keep turbulence at high RPM down. Did we find TDmax another 5mph?

WAIT, who else has an LE that can look and see if there's has one?

I doubt it. I couldnt feel any difference but I sure look at it and think it belongs in there. They dont put a piece like that in there for no reason. I just cant chance it so it gone.

Okay guys I almost pulled the trigger today on the excell air box mod. Should I just get the k&n system. I know it's a little off topic just looking for your guys honest opinion. Thanks guys I'm afraid of spending money on a mod that will have to be thrown away in a year after use.
I did some searching and found my divider in one of the lower drawers on my roll cab. Must have set it there while I was cutting in the nose and shut the drawer forgetting about it.
