Also since I finally have a bit of time on the internet right now, I would throw in a few pictures of what I do up in the northwoods when I am not working or working on the sled.

When you get to cosmetic stuff like graphics let me know, Had the boondocker stickers made for $20 for both sides. Have you thought about billet wheels? Maybe just run the inners? better off trail.

Why are billet wheels better off trail?

I actually just got back from a lady who is gone to make me two stickers to replace the side panel stickers. She is doing it for 65$ for both sides, alot more than 20$, but she is going to try and keep the flame theme going, and they are a pretty awkward size, kind of triangle shaped. So I think it is a fair price.



Also today I dropped the driveshaft and the extroverts off at the local dealer for them to press the old ones off and press the new ones on.

Bought the bolts for the rail extensions today. Also found out yesterday I don't have a wheel axel that goes between the rail extensions. I am just going to run without it, I am thinking the suspension will be plenty strong without it. Also I believe the 136" extensions don't even use this extra axel in the suspension.

Why are billet wheels better off trail?

I was not referring to the billet wheels as better off trail but running two inner wheels like many other people do for side hilling and such. But maybe it would not be a very good idea since you are not running the extension axle. idk? just a thought

Yea I think I will just stick with the stock ZX-2 rear wheels. The Apex is a pretty easy sled to get up on one side to carve. It should be even easier now as well because I pulled the sway bar out the other day. One of the bushings holding the sway bar was completely worn, I will have to get a picture of it. This afternoon I will try and get the rail extensions on, may need another body to help me though. We will see.

Making progess on the sled, got the suspension mostly together I am just waiting on the shocks to get back.

Like I said earlier I not running the extra interior axel and wheels that go where the screw driver is in this picture because I ordered the extensions online from a guy who had a spare extension but was using those parts did not give me those parts.

The supension is very strong as it is right now without that brace, I may however try to just make my own brace and use it with out wheels. It would just have to be a chunk of aluminum much like the interior rail of the rear axel, just with out the wheels that is about 7 1/2" long. We will see what I come up with.

The extroverts are on the driveshaft however one is not on perfectly straight so I brought it back to the dealer and they are fixing it. Here is a picture of the both the straight one and the one which is on a bit crooked.

Anybody know what do with two collars on either side of the shaft that are held on by set screws, havent looked at them much, but do i have to put them where they were originally or can I pound them right up to drivers on the shaft and tighten the set screws there.

I pulled the swaybar out the other day, will probably put it back in later in the snow season when I get out on the trails.

I ordered some new fun accessories today, but I am in a bit of a rush right now, so I will talk about those later when I get them.

Two problems with this picture:
1. Only one yamaha in the picture! Wheres the Nytro? You family needs more yamahas!
2. The lone yamaha is the only one being worked on!

The Nytro is in the corner there.

And yes the down side of owning a Yamaha and riding a lot is that you need to work on it a bit every 9500 miles. My sled, beside the Nytro is the newest of the bunch and has by far the most amount of miles on it.

A little update, the dealer is having problems getting the extrovert drivers to line up. I called Wahl Bros racing, and they said obviously that should not be happening. So tommorow the dealer is going to take the driver that isnt lining up and put in on the other way and see if that doesn't help. If it still doesnt line up, it could just be a bad driver so I will send the driveshaft and drivers into Wahl racing and he will take care of it and fix it for me.

Very good customer service from Wahl so far.
