From OFT Racing, check out a few post up and Motophysco is one of the owners of OFT, check out there website, they have very high quality parts.

Thanks, they look just like the ones on my Raptor too, maybe I'll get several!

Firemann,

As long as your steering shaft is 1", these will work.

I have installed them on a Banshee as well as a Grizzly 700...

Gotta love Yammi's!!! One size fits all!

The arrows on the drivers need to face the same side of the sled or they won't line up

Dealer tried alot of different things but the drivers just weren't lining up. So I sent them into Wahl today and Dave the owner said he get everything straight for me.

Nope havent heard from Wahl yet. They should of got the drivers yesterday.

I just emailed them a second ago to see if they got them and if they fixed them, I will call them tommorow afternoon if I dont hear from them by then.

For Gearing I am going to leave the same for all altitudes for now. That is I am going to run a 22T top gear instead of the stock 24T and also the 8T drivers instead of the stock 9tooth. I should be fine for Idaho since the riding is pretty low, 4000-6500ft or so. If we stop in Wyoming I will just adjust the clutch rivets to get as close to the right RPM as possible. I have an extra set of weights so I can set one for Idaho and one for Wyoming.

I will test the sled out and if it cant perform up high I will buy a lower gear for upcoming years later on. I just don't feel like spending the money on it now and swapping it out before we head out there.

Got my drivers back from Wahl yesterday all fixed up. So I go to put them in my sled and just dry fit the driveshaft and track, and the track is rubbing eveyrwherel inside the tunnel. I take the drivers out and count the teeth. They are 8 tooth drivers like I need, I hold them up to the stock drivers and realize they are bigger in diameter than stock. The drivers that are now on my driveshaft are 3.0" pitch drivers.

Now I need to order new drivers that are the correct 2.52 pitch 8 tooth extroverts. I did not order these drivers direct from wahl, I got them brand new from a guy on the internet quite a long time ago and I forget the exact details but I was under the impression that they had the right pitch. I called Wahl today and they may help me out and give me a discount on new drivers which I am hoping for, they were suppose to call me back today but did not.

I want to get these drivers right so I can start getting this sled back together.

Suspension is 95% all put together, I put all new bearings in the wheels, still waiting for 4 more bearings from the dealer. A few of the bearings were really dry and rusty. I will get some pictures up later.

I ordered the correct drivers from wahl at no discount to me. My dealer installed them and everything lined up.

Here is a shot of the old 3" pitch drivers lined up on the driveshaft.

Before I reinstalled the driveshaft I replaced 3 chaincase bearings and also the driveshaft and jackshaft bearings. Chaincase bearings were still in pretty good shape, two did not spin perfectly smooth but still were fine. The speedo bearing was replaced last year and was still in good shape, but I replaced it again anyway. The jackshaft bearing was never replaced and needed replacing.

Here is a shot of one the chaincase bearings, the one replacing it is just a parts unlimited bearing. The jackshaft and driveshaft bearing was replaced with Yamaha bearings.

I also cleaned up the sled a bit as I have been working on it.

Here is the front heat exchanger with the protectors grinded off.

Can't view these pictures right now with dialup but I believe one is of the chaincase halfway put together

Here is the 22T top gear I am putting in vs the stock 24T top gear.

Today I started and pretty much finished putting the tunnel extension on, just have to put the rear grab bar on. After many problems with rivets and rivets guns I got things straigntened out.

I trimmed down the guard that guards the rear coolant pipe as per instruction from this site since a few have had problems with big lug track hitting it when the extended ZX-2 was installed. So hopefully I don't have any problems with it.

Here is a shot of the muffinworks tunnel extension installed. I had to trim a real little bit of the bottom off in order for it to fit better as you can see in the last picture.

Chaincase fully assembled. Hopefully it holds chaincase oil without leaking!

The ZX-2 is fully put together and has all new bearings in all the wheels, a few were real rusty and could hardly spin! Also the shocks are freshly rebuilt and revalved by Bruce and Pioneer Performance.

I also decided to order the extra axel without the wheels inorder to give the suspension a bit more support.

I had a a few week delay dealing with the driver problems. But the sled is coming back together pretty quick now.

Can't wait to get the supsension in this thing and see what is looks like!

Looking good. I finished mine a few months back. Still have to wait for snow to completely fine tune everything. It does make the sled look good tho... Cant wait for snow...

The muffin works tunnel extension when I put mine on I had to do some modifing of it.... The inside U shape(basicly the piece that sits around the exhaust). I had to trim the corners and round them out so it wont crack. Both corners hit the exhaust mounts and I didnt want that. Other than that only other problem I had was that piece you trimed down.

Looks awesome I really want to go 144" but just know it would drive me nuts at my favorite place to ride in WI where the trails are so twisty that 100 miles wears you out.
