Asphalt results "2006"

I was running out with 24/38. Mathmatically it was good for 136mph with a 1:1 ratio and I was running 133. 25/38 puts me into the 140s on paper.

GOT THE WORD FROM NOS-PRO!! THE OLD GIRL WAS A TRUCKING PASS WITH THE NOS AND KABOOM!!! :o| I'M SURE WE WILL HERE FROM HIM LATER.
AS JOHN FORCE WOULD SAY, WE HAD TO BLOW UP THE OLD HEAP A FEW

hi guyes thougth i'd let you know what the new phaser can run with kieth wood's magic! 1/8 mile oxford dragway 1.603 60', 4.8500 330', 7.8061 660' 81.80 mph they were 24 sleds on opening night with a pay out of $500 to win $850 total :yam:

Tyler, it looks like the center cylinder had a slight seizure, and took the electrode off of the spark plug. It was on 1 hell of a pass, and would have run an 8 something by the way it was pulling and lifting the skis at half track. I actually got chit scared!

Don't have the tach or the temp gauge hooked up on the Attak yet, but will do my best to keep the points going. Will post later.

Terry, sorry to hear about the srx…

Good night for racing here in NY, when we pulled in was 62deg and sunny… At the end of the night the track got slippery and dew started to settle in… Temp was 51deg when we pulled out at 10:30pm. Got out to NYIRP last night for the first time (test-n-tune) at the track, again I can not say enough about this track and how great they are, thanks again to the owner Bob… Running sled at 14.5lbs of boost... for now.. ;)!

Here are the numbers with some notes… There was only 2-big cars, a couple of mod cars that were putting down the rubber, all the rest were imports, bikes, one other sled (he blew up), but did get a chance to see the new 06-Proline skid (nice…), and street cars.

Run1: Pulled hard to the left had to let off at the 500ft mark; made adjustments for the next run
1.49 60’ - 6.38 1/8 @106.05 - 10.02 ¼ @ 134.54

Run 2: Still pulled to the left, but not as bad had to let off at the 660ft mark, then got back into it; made some more adjustments for next run
1.54 60’ - 6.00 1/8 @ 110.9 - 9.612 ¼ @ 135.72

Run 3: Finally a solid run…
1.49 60’ - 5.97 1/8 @ 110.70 - 9.55 ¼ @ 136.03

Run 4: Adjusted some secondary belt deflection on this run, and made a small adjustment in the skid
1.47 60’ - 5.95 1/8 @ 119.33 - 9.38 ¼ @ 139.72

Run 5: Took some mid weight out of the ST’s… Now we are having some fun…!!!
1.48 60’ - 5.82 1/8 @ 121.73 - 9.17 ¼ @ 141.68

Run 6: Made this run to back up the first run, but forgot to record the rpm via. VDO Tach… my bad…
1.48 60’ - 5.83 1/8 @ 121.27 - 9.16 ¼ @ 142.67

Run 7: Made this run just for fun… But, I lined up in the in the worst spot of the night in that lane, spun bad… BUT…
1.50 60’ - 5.85 1/8 @ 123.49 - 9.13 ¼ @ 144.67

Went to the track, and saw I am tied for 3rd place from the last race, so was happy to see that posted.

Wisconsin International raceway 5/6/06

Needed to get the Attak hooking good for tracton, so I went to the end of the track early, and did some adjustments in the shutdown area. Changed the pro-stock shocks to SRX shocks set at soft. Headwind was terrible at 30+ mph.

Bad news from Friday was the burndown of the SRX, but check out this 1/8 mile slip.

Friday night, 47 degrees, 48% humidity, no headwind. SRX on bottle.
1.406 60ft. - 5.806 1/8 @ 114.695mph - and then burned down to a 10.048 @ 84.549mph
That would have been a high 8 pass!!!!
