Barn of Parts Storage & Fuel Solutions Linq, Rotopax & Hard Cases

Are the tunnel stiffners available separately? I already have a cargo setup but would like to stiffen the tunnel.

Still exploring various combinations for luggage. If I use fuel pax gas can they have a deeper recess for the retaining wing nut than rotopax brand. The wing nut sits flush inside the recess which allows attachment of a Givi base. When you don't want hard case you just unclip it and can carry just gas. To remove the gas can you just unthread the givi base which is attached to the wing nut. Could retail this whole 30L hard case/2.5 gallon gas combo kit for around $250.

The Givi case works great, but the bubble look is not my favorite. I managed to find a more squared off case that should look much nicer. Should have one in hand tomorrow to mount up. Nice thing about this case is base kits are available separate for only around $20, so I could put a base on my cycle and a base on my sled and share the case each season.

I definitely like the looks of this case much better. Pictured on cycle with a 2.5 gallon tank. On the work bench it is sitting on the 1.5 gallon tank.

Did a little video this morning to help explain what I have come up with.

Never did any fit ups with saddlebags.

The hard case that I've adapted is promoted for motorcycles. I have no concerns with my mounting set up. The only thing that could be a concern is the integrity of the plastic. The integrity of anything out of China is suspect these days! I have read up on some reviews online and guys running them on their dual sports and adventure bikes have had good luck with them. While dual sport riding is not a whooped out trail, it is certainly tests durability more than just road riding. I have only discovered this case this summer so no test time on the snow just yet.

Thanks. Waiting to hear back after you get some testing in on the sleds then.
