MAN, your sled is red hot, awesome. You've put some work into it. It will definetively be a head turner, that's for sure.

I got them at Checker Auto parts. 1/4" & 1/2". I still need to clamp them down yet. I have quite a few Billet Cable clamps I'm looking at, just waiting a bit more for an over all picture of when the sled is done to decide which ones will match the best.
I'm trying not to skip any small detail. lol

Kevin looked at me when that sled climber that hill and shook my head....NOPE. LOL
I'll be looking for it this season though. I'll climb some other hils and work my way up to hills that size. Hopefully my sled and me can get r done.

I got my Expert from my wrecked RTX. ( Man, is that sled tweeked )
Aas you can see from the pic, my DTR system is toast. I really don't need it and may just run without it. ( As I did when I first got the skid. ) The guy I sold the sled to has kept it outside since Feb. Most of my wheel bearings are shot, 1 wheel is all dry rotted. I had a hell of a time removing the rear axle to install my 8" axle and wheels. I decided not to install them yet. I need to take this skid completely apart now to grease and clean everything.
What do you all think, should I keep the rails natural, powder coat red? Keep in mind the colors of my sled and an addition of an 08 seat with the red strip.

It's been awhile here. Been really busy at work and remodeling part of my home. Anyway, I'm finally going to start getting this project done.
I received my Hauck Full exhaust system. I have my sled half tore apart now. Seat, suspension, fuel tank, etc. I'll have some pics of the install later this week. For now, here a couple pics of the system. Silencer and headers.
Vince
BTW: Hauck claims a 7-9hp gain on top of what my MPI Blower will be pumping out plus the obvious weight savings and a cool sound to boot.
I plan to have this sled Dynoed when it is all done so I have the REAL numbers of everything combined.

It'll sound awesome, but the ones I've heard can attract some "attention". Behave when you need to and IMO, you should get away with it just fine.

I should be fine. Notice the first pic, there is a plug in one side. That makes the system way quieter and will only reduce the hp by 2.
