After finding every single rivet loose on top of the main tunnel including the one that hold the fwd to aft heat exchanger tubes loose, tunnel bowed up in the front and ripped away from the forward heat exchanger I would never buy a cat built sled again. Makes my stomach sick after buying new $$$$ and it has only 5000 miles on it.
The top of the main tunnel is only .050" thick.
Snow and ice bounce off of that thin crap all the time. Cheap crap.
Take your seat and gas tank off to find this. They hide it well.
Yep lots of loose rivits! Here’s what I have done to combat the problem. Replaced all the tunnel rivits with stainless 10-32 round head machine screws & nuts, loctighted in! Get’em tight!
The larger rivits on top I used 1/4 screws and nuts. You get much better clamping force from screws.

Or the 300cc liquid cooled yamaha inviterClosest thing I can think of for a sound comparison would be the late 90's Polaris Xplorer atv.

Planning on using some titanium hi locks with some interface sealant between the chunks to keep it from moving.

He lives north of the border, that is 6k in funny money. When you add all the fees including all the taxes it is that much.

I'm thinking the Blast will not be shared but Yamaha has been working on a new model design in a new pure Yamaha chassis, it could be a midsize also or full blown out new lightweight sled design and engine to replace the Viper and house the Phazer engine, Sidewinder will stay in the pro cross for now, if not.... new decals with upgraded shocks.

Yep definitely dreaming if you think Yamaha is bringing anything new out, they will share the Blast. It will not have a Phazer 4 stroke motor either it is the highest priced motor for Yamaha to manufacture, it's long gone. Probably just different colors and graphics maybe clutching but after the failure with the SideWinder clutching I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Yeah.... maybe i'm dreaming... maybe not, Yamaha is very tight lipped though, they will continue sharing the pro cross but that's it, I will be very surprised to see the blast in the Yamaha line up, it would be a waste of money with no gain to Yamaha, the pro cross has already tarnished Yamahas good name no need to add to that, Yep... new chassis and motor coming.

I totally disagree you put that sled in YAMAHA'S line up and put Enticer on it that sled would sell like hotcakes. It probably will end up being a Snow Sport though. Not sure what you mean by tarnished if that's the case it started way before the Pro Cross probably right about the time the Apex was released.
