Slap an Enticer or Bravo name on these and take my money.
Yea that’s what we want, a 100% Arctic Cat sled with Yamaha stickers so we can pay 30~40 percent more for nothing. Basically running the Yamaha brand name into the ground to make a profit.
Most people will buy them because of yamaha’s legendary reliability and performance, not knowing it’s identical to the Arctic Cat.
Several years later they will find out they could have saved $2500 and just bought the Cat, yea that’s great for the brand.
I’ve seen this before, they milk the brand name for all it’s worth, then when people find out they are done.
Not cool, I hope they don’t do something stupid like that.

And some Bravos
And some Enticers
Enticer will be back!
Everything else is too small or too big or too weird. Most of us probably grew up on this class of sled. I have a fleet of ETs and ECs because they are so much goddamn fun. This segment was lacking. They will sell.

Yamaha does put some of their own DNA in them, and for all we know, they are developed together. So we can speculate about what it means to us, but it is what it is. I am excited.
With price point, are warranties equal? I agree, the higher Yamaha prices are annoying.

Yes the higher price points are annoying and so is the shitty 1 year warranty. At least cat has a good warranty..Yamaha does put some of their own DNA in them, and for all we know, they are developed together. So we can speculate about what it means to us, but it is what it is. I am excited.

By all means do! You can like what u like and I’ll like what I like. Why are so many guys here at the Yamaha forum so exited what Cat will realese? Why dont you just buy a Cat sled insted og the hybrid Yamacat? Next time i buy a sled it will be 100% sled from that company. If it will be Skidoo,ArticCat i dont know yet,but i will not suport and give my money to a company that just make stickers and a motor.

Question.....We all know that Yamaha is a multi faceted world wide company that doesn't like to lose money. We also know that their Snowmobile division makes up a pretty small slice of their overall sales pie. They've had their Snowmobile R&D center in Minocqua, WI for over 20 years. That place has to cost them a fair amount of coin with paying their engineering staff and whatever other costs are involved in keeping the lights on in Minocqua.
They've got some pretty qualified people working there along with some talented contracted folks who've worked there in the past.
Why would they keep pouring in the dollars to keep that place open if they're not going to stay the course in the snowmobile business and make a profit?
If you've been a long time sledder you still might have a hard time accepting the fact that Arctic Cat and Yamaha are working together, but in the shrinking marketplace their partnership seems to be working out with both companies looking at the future of the sport.

Most, if not all, of the speculation online is BS. The companies clearly say "we're in this!" And have R&D and public outreach etc. Then some random guy on the internet projects and criticizes something using totally subjective reasoning about how it's not his vision playing out. Most of the bellyaching falls apart over time.

The scoot is 6k.$8000 seems a little steep if this is a kids sled. I was hoping it would be closer to 5-6K.
