Nice ! Your gonna love the options you haveYes i want to see if the 225hp will pull those weights empty or not then i would only have to change helix for other tunes, will probably run 240 most of the time my trails are tight and twisty, but will get the bov and sensor for 270 sometime so i can get full power

Yes can't wait, i believe 270 tune makes 17.1 lbs boost if no leaks

If you got it Dyno’d then you know for sure.
I’m only going by the boost gauge in the cluster. It read 16 all day on orange.
Yup, my highest Boost number on the 270 Flash was 16.85 PSI at 7800 RPM.

Yes Slowly. 7800 was 16.85, 16.75 at 8300, and 16.3 at 8800.

Probably drops off a little on top because he adds a little fuel to make it safe for the longer runs

I did a lot of testing last year with stock sleds . Best stock setup was 33/35 with stock weights. Black orange secondary. This is a trail setup.
The dtay1 are too heavy for stock. I don’t think they will pull the rpm
Exactly my results

let me tell you a story about a sidewinder named “orange you glad” orange for short.
The 270 flash is absolutely bonkers fast mid range right to top. You don’t get bord of this girl.
This flash seems to run big boost right away and keep pulling. Very snappy a snotty. Corner to corner it just works! On and off that’s your decision.
I could not get enough of this machine. Problem was it’s not mine. I had to give it back to a very happy sled owner
Clutching ,we are running dalton springs and weights with a dalton helix and ultimax belt. Shift was very smooth for all the power and clutches ran fairly cool. Not stock cool but no where near ski doo temps.
I seen 120 mph but never had the chance again for another speed run. More was there.
Orange is my new side chick.
Have fun and stay safe.
Joe
I love a good bedtime story!

I had to put a Turbosmart BOV in mine..the stock one leaked like a siv. Many leaky hoses and cheap clamps, and exhaust leaks as well. And I needed to put in a 3 bar map sensor to get the Boost and HP that the tunes claimed. Had it Dyno’d without and with these features, and the differences were night and day.
She is now hitting the numbers/HP as Dave said it would.
Won’t be able to ride it until the day after Xmas...so looking forward to see how she goes compared to Stock.
Curious, what were your HP numbers with stock map sensor and BOV?

Sounds like you have the 270 tune dialed in! Based off of that would you have any clutching recommendations for the 240 tune? I'm planing to run the stock muffler bundle and flash to pass. I ride mainly twisties but there are some long straights and lakes as well.Yes all dalton.
On orange we are running dtya 1 with a 41 /35 helix. Black blue spring in primary and black orange in the back

Curious, what were your HP numbers with stock map sensor and BOV?
Tested it bone stock to get a baseline, and it was only able to pull 186 HP.
Tested it with the tune bundle in, and the 225 tune pulled 203HP, and the 240 and 270 pulled only 213HP.
Many boost leaks, Stock BOV was junk(leaked like crazy), and had exhaust leaks as well...she just couldn’t make/or hold the boost to make the power.
Took care of all the boost leaks and exhaust leaks and put in a Turbosmart BOV, with the 3 Bar map sensor, and she pulled a lil over 206 HP stock.
And then when tested with the tunes, the 225 and 270 tunes exceeded their HP, and the 240 tune was dead on.
Imo..from what we saw with the Dyno...substantial gains to be had with the 3 bar map sensor and Turbosmart BOV...at least in my situation.

13lbs was the best I saw! Found loose clamps(one gear clamp I was able to turn it on hose) and tighten all up and now hit 15.5lbs (stock bov and map.sensor)
Will be adding.cold air intake, turbosmart bov and 3.bar very soon

for twisty trails with the 240 flash I would try a reverse angle helix. maybe the 35/39 that the srx comes with. Black orange secondary spring.Sounds like you have the 270 tune dialed in! this is just my insight.
