Kinger, the sleds looks awesome! Great job. One other thing you might consider is to powder coat the rear bumper black or maybe white?. I will be interested to hear how the bed liner paint holds up on the running boards. G.B.

Thx GB, the rear bumper will be replaced sometime I hate it, too low and yeah looks like crap. Just ran out of time this year. I frequently grab it, hook it, step on it, etc so it will have to be durable might just polish it.

Very nice sled! Even without the paint this sled is second to none when it comes to details!
Also looks so good with your GMC Denali, now you just need a matching trailer
Little helpful tip I have done lots of times: Get a nut that threads onto one of cross shaft bolts. So when you want to remove the skid just take one bolt out and put the nut on that bolt then thread it into the cross shaft a little and tighten the nut against the tunnel. This will allow you to take the other side bolt out and then loosen the nut and remove the bolt. OR use air tools.

Chain case, and drive axle done for the year!

That's a great idea! I have been struggling with this issue for years!
Kinger, I didn't want to mention anything about the trailer as I figured all your money was wrapped up in your sled! LOL.

For what it is worth, I had my rear bumper powder coated black two years ago. I think is cost me $23 and it has held up well. I often use a tie down strap on it and it still looks good. G.B.

That trailer puts your sled to shame O well, little work to your sled and it could be just as nice...jk!
BTW, great job on the sled and it would look great in my trailer....
I have a nice trailer and no supercharger...um yet! I am thinking sell the trailer supercharge my sled and put it in my truck....

Kinger,
I would be curious for an update on how the duplicolor holds up, would you consider doing this to the entire tunnel, or would it maybe cause problems on top of the tunnel? Did you just spray it on evenly, how about down by the foot wells? Looks professional IMO. Thanks.

Thanks for the nice replies everyone!
TT thanks again for the yam logos in CAD they really made the sled!
rindtj - I will let you know how it holds there are quirte a few people interested in a long term test so I will post a review about it in the reviews or general section mid and end of season.
I would never do the entire tunnel just what you could see. Not sure how it would look on the sides, to me it looks better on the floorbard as a wear surface. It was just sprayed on by me and I'm the worst painter ever no patience always add to much and it was very forgiving.
Funnny a sled with $20k in mod value I'm most impressed with the $10 truck liner LOL

Don't feel too bad about your trailer. That was about what I've had all my life until last season when I finally bought a large enclosed trailer for our sleds.
Your sled is absolutely impossible to spot at winter out in the bushes, camo at 110%, stealth is switched on, ready to ride. Man buddy, out in the bushes your sled looks like it's having a cloaking device making it invisble. Darn freaking cool thing you have there.

no headlight
No headlight looks very slick, but it not functional. I of course would like to run no headlight on the yamadoo but love having a good headlight when it is dark, or starting to get dark.

Are those covers? Do they snap in? I would run the lights and if those are covers just snap them in for show
