OSP SR Viper belt adjuster with float

onestopjim,

I just sent you a site PM about my order. I ordered 2 adjusters and it only took the 20% off of one of them.

What's all this now about a deeper cup and making it easier to remove the belt? Is there anyway one can do this on one of these adjusters themselves? I bought mine when these were first advertised, ordered mine then 12 hours later there is a code for a 20% off deal and now there is a deeper cup on the newest ones, wish I would of waited to order mine, haven't even installed it yet.

I bought a early one also. There is not enough travel to easily get a 8jp or aftermarket equivalent off easily. 8dn it works great for removing belt. The adjuster does work wonderfully for adjusting deflection just not for removal. I am afraid with a deeper cup it may not get full adjustment for 8dn even with plate removed. Only so many threads on adjuster itself. May need two cups if going back and forth between belts. Not a big deal but could have been easily corrected.

just so you guys know I have not made a deeper cup yet I still have cups left when I get back them I will make them deeper. these are awesome addition to your sled, you can remove your belt but it is tight... as soon as I get the new cups made I will let you know... the plastic is expensive thanks everyone..

Hmm if that is the case then I think I would rather have the regular cup size and a bit more struggle with belt removal then lose adjustability of the 8dn.

Make sure you remove the 3 screws on the back side of secondary. The plate is between the 2 sheeves on the secondary that has three screws that need to be heated to remove as cannaondale mentioned.
Hey guys
I have my OSP ADJUSTER!
Do i remove and leave out the three screws at back of secondary? As well do i remove 3 bolts at front to split sexondary to remove the inner plate?

I just did the three bolts in back, as far I know that's all you need works fine in mine

All I put back in was the bolt
