Ouch did you put heat to them first?Recommend against removing the plate with 3 screws on the back of the clutch. That blue lock-tight is more like red. If you do, use heat. I snapped a head and ended up having to drill it out. Was not a happy day as a 30min job took half a day or more...
Not sure what your talking about there is no plate on the back of a secondary it is just 3 small bolts with washers as shims? They should not even have lock-tite on them they have to be removable to add or remove the shims.

Sounds like windage plates. Why would you need to remove those?

Correct. You don't need to remove the plate. Just wanted to reduce the minimal weight and rotational mass associated with it. When I did it, was out of propane for my torch and didn't heat it up. Much regret and head banging
. Just word of advice from experience, heat is the answer if you choose to remove it. I recommend against it. I managed to get everything out and chased the threads with a tap just to make sure I didn't do damage with the drill bit. Seems to be OK. Just need to find a replacement screw to have on hand IOT return to stock if I so choose.

I sent a couple of e-mails now to www.Onestopperformance.com web site about the belt Adjuster and left 2 messages on this site for onestopjim but got no response.
