OSP SR Viper belt adjuster with float

Recommend against removing the plate with 3 screws on the back of the clutch. That blue lock-tight is more like red. If you do, use heat. I snapped a head and ended up having to drill it out. Was not a happy day as a 30min job took half a day or more...
Ouch did you put heat to them first?

earlier in this post they talk about removing the plate on the inside of the clutch I think that is what he is talking about.

Correct. You don't need to remove the plate. Just wanted to reduce the minimal weight and rotational mass associated with it. When I did it, was out of propane for my torch and didn't heat it up. Much regret and head banging:o|. Just word of advice from experience, heat is the answer if you choose to remove it. I recommend against it. I managed to get everything out and chased the threads with a tap just to make sure I didn't do damage with the drill bit. Seems to be OK. Just need to find a replacement screw to have on hand IOT return to stock if I so choose.

Is the TYOSP code still in use or has that expired? Planning on ordering this weekend. Thanks
