Hey would you order up another one? Just push it apart, clean up, put green loctite on it an push it together. They need loctite as to not move anyway.

Factory assembly does not come with loctite and one belt blow and it slides in anyway.

is there enough room on the back of the housing to pin prick around the bearing lip after pressed? seen a lot of stuff built like that and have done it myself on seals and what not

Mr. Knapp, new one as a shelf unit/keep in the trailer. I like running my sled hard, so when I blow a belt on my next trip, I can just swap the shelf unit into the sled and not have to worry about offset issues. Will be doing exactly as you suggest when it comes in. Then I'll pull the new one off my sled and do the same thing! Thanks.

What diameter does the seal on the stub shaft go back into when reinstalling? Won't it just slide in on the shaft toward the clutch when you push the assembly back in?

Think I figured this out, seal got slid down to the flange on the 48.00 mm dia. of the stub shaft when I pulled it. Does the seal butt up to the back of the bearing on the 45.00mm dia.shoulder?

Yes. When you pull stub/bearing assy out, seal gets pulled up onto the larger diameter next to rib/flange. It actually runs next to outer bearing when installed. You really can't get it wrong because when you install assy back in, the seal will slide into correct position as you push assy in. The housing presses against the seal edge to seal it into case.

Is green Loctite numbered 270 or 290?

If you're talking about loctiting the outer bearing into stub housing, something like 638.
