It’s a 270 kit I’m sure, same as mine. Stock clutches can’t handle anything more than 350hp they go boom.Do you think his hp was a typo 270 to track,so he is 500 plus at crank?
I just had to post the “CLUB DUDE” he’s my favorite! Viking/Tasmanians R cool! Gotta wonder how his parents met each other?

Snowbeast it is 270hp+ in the engine. Gonna put it on dyno in couple of weeks to see the hp. But it is at least 270 in it

Second of all, what is in your primary?

Primary and motor are stock. Secondary at 3&3. Looking forward to millinocket again mid March but don't want to be that far into into winter anytime soon........

Are you now saying the ulmer blk/pink 30/90 is now not working for your set up this year? But last year it was all good. What changed? My primary spring is a 30/90, it's not stiff. I ran these weights and spring last year without issue. The spring may work for some but it's not working for me.

Update . Ran the orange spring @ 40 today in 14 inches of new snow trail and lake. Backshift and upshift was still good in the deep snow. Did a full throttle lake run of 1/2 mile in 14 inches of new snow after trail riding and lake riding 5 miles @ 55 and checked the clutches and belt for heat when I got to shore. They were warm but not hot. Secondary was a little warmer than the primary. No problems leaving my hands on them. I think I will leave it there for now.

Nice glad someone finally compared this TP orange spring.
No mention of helix angles or type of belt being used makes this all useless info tho. Run that spring with a 40 degree helix with an 8dn belt, you’ll probably want more twist than 40 degrees. On the other hand run that spring with a 33/35 and a Gates Carbon belt and you could turn it down to 20~30 degrees twist.
