I would think with 2 glide washers and 3 shims the TPI orange spring would be pretty close to stock engagement.

What whole kit are you guys talking about ?You might as well order the whole kit it will save you money in the long run and the kit works very well stock to 285hp instead of piecing together the weights primary spring and glide washers separate. Set the secondary spring to 3-3. You will see gains with the weights even stock.

I've got this exact TP orange primary with glide washers and all 3 shim washers with TP orange secondary set at 3/3 in my RTX. Stock arms. Engagement is right around 2800. My buddy has a 100% clutched LTX and he pulls me by at least a sled length and continues to walk away from me on top. I never ran my sled with the stock clutching, so don't know if my spring combo is worse than stock, or if he just has a strong motor.
Anyone else out there see similar results? I guess I need to put the stock set up back in to see how it performs.

I have same springs with stock 35 helix and stm weights loaded to 80 grms on sandale 3" and EVO stage 4 tune engagement is 3200-3400 shifts to 9150Your engagement will most likely be pretty low, but you might like it.

The setup you have is far better than the stock clutch setup. If you are 1 sled length behind your buddy with 100% aftermarket clutching (That's the way I am reading this), he should walk you on top.
If he is 100% stock clutching, then you have to take into consideration the track, gearing and rpm's you both are running.
The orange primary spring was designed to work with the Heavy Hitter kit.... @shagman and I never tested the orange primary spring with the stock weights.
Just an FYI, when testing. Do 1 thing at a time. Change of a spring setting will either work or it won't. My advice is to take out the orange primary spring and shims. With the primary stock, try the secondary orange secondary spring set at 3-3, then try it at 2-3 against the LTX if he is 100% stock. Then try all stock against the LTX.

Thank you! That' exactly the advice I was lookng for. Buddy is 100% stock with stock clutching. Both of us have about 500 miles on sleds. I'll try putting the stock primary back in 1st and see how it turns out.

Following this. I also put in both TP orange springs, and something seemed off. I swapped back to stock primary spring.
No test rides yet.
