My friend got a new 50th LTX which is bone stock with a little over 400 miles and I have a LTX DX with almost 300miles on it. We have very similar suspension settings(preload and transfer settings) except for his QS3s. He is about 210 and I am 225. We both have 144 studs in the center of the track. I run the orange primary spring with 2 glide washers and 1 shim which engages at about 2700 and shifts out at around 8700-8800 now. My secondary has the TPI rollers and the Orange spring wrapped at 60. We raced many times about 1000ft and we traded wins . I won more than I lost. His was spinning about 8700. My sled is way more responsive and more fun to drive on the trail with the orange springs. I do plan on getting HH in the near future but until the sled is broke in I feel the sled is good with this set up.

Does anyone know the spring rate for loans primary orange coil spring?? My set up today has loans orange primary with stm supertipweights loaded 80 grms, and secondary loans tough guy set at 3&3 for 60 degrees, and stock 35 helix, engagement 3200-shifts to 9700 bouncing off rev limiter, and settles in at 9150 for hard pulling to top end running, only thing I don't like is it slamming the rev limiter,i may try my Dalton black/blue 54/133 but it may be even more than loans orange is. Also I may also try the stm 38 helix I ran last year, but it used to dig a hole with it,and upshift so fast,it would struggle to get rpms where they needed to be,but last year we did not have the tough guy spring,so it may be a good helix to slow down the rev limit banging. Any thoughts??? Man its so cold out here in maine this week not much fun.

I think this is correct. Converted to KG it is 35-147. It is a high rate
spring.

Thanks fourload, this now makes sience wy my overall shift hits rev limit and calms down to 9150,this is what my stage 4 wants, but just not the rev limit bouncing around out of the hole lol. Glad you could convert the # lb numbers to kg.I think this is correct. Converted to KG it is 35-147. It is a high rateView attachment 135331 spring.
