Update from "ttabs Nytro mod shop"

Ttabs, I hate to second-guess you but you may want to double check that collar seal. On the RX there is a groove on the inside of the collar that holds that o-ring.

Hmmmmm - as I recall there was a grove on the outside of the seal for that thing on the Nytro. It fit in there very nicely. Anyways, I checked it out in the Nytro Manual link I posted a few pages back and I believe I got'er right. They added three new seals in that diagram and it's listed as 'NEW' in the picture I posted w/ no part number.

The other tunnel mod I should mention here is my cargo plan. I picked up a couple of gas can attachment systems from Craiggerbuilt (click). I used this system on my Rev and it worked well. You postition the mounting plate where you'd like it, drill 4 holes, and screw it in place ...

I arranged mine so I can carry an extra 5 gal of gas ....

or I can carry a cargo bag with a 2 1/2 gal can ....

That cargo bag there sure holds a lot of stuff. It really works great!

Either way, the locking mechanism is quite secure and with a pull of the 'T' handle there, these things come right off the plate. They work slick.

Yamaha will NEVER be the same with TTabs Mod shop!!!!! :die :jump: :yam:

Those of us who met Ttabs on Dootalk found his stuff to be the cleanest easiest way to learn this stuff...

Personally, would have never tackled what I am with my Nytro had I not been a pupil of the TTabs Modshop there...

:rocks:

we need a new emoticon that is Got Boost? not just :nos

ttabs, I've been following your thread and just wanted to thank you for your willing and cheerful help here on TY. Nice to see modifications that are useful, thought out and practical. Very clear presentation's with clear and recognizable pictures. Hope to meet up someday when I get out west
Dave ;)!

That bag and gas rack system is really slick. I have never seen anything like that before. I think I am going to be picking up the cargo bag like shown in your picture
