Yes that is true,
In only 800 km on my sled I had a lot of oily water in my air box and at the bottom on panel under the belt.
Hate to say it but I just extended the hose to under the motor where it can leak onto the access door of the oil filter.

Probably a good idea. I bet that oily water will eventually work it’s way to the drive belt below the air box/filter.

Received new heated rov kit today that I order from yamaha dealer(part #TT listed on first post of this thread good here in canada)Not that I need instructions to install but just confirming that no other information was included with kit as to location to install(2020 location or 17-19 location)Also cheaper price ordering the yamaha kit versus the cat kit.

Do not know if it b.s. or not but when I asked about why cat is more money for the kit they said if it is a yamaha part and sold to cat it is more money, and if cat part sold to yamaha cost more.As with anything that you sourse from someone else there is markup lol

I am off the 3 year warranty period. This was done as a recall!

Got my kit today - according to install manual it is same location as 2020
