Updated heated ROV kit

Is this the heating element powered all the time on this kit when running? Is it live with key on or does sled have to be running?

still testing my solution. No heated valve will be needed.

The updated ROV kit is a step in the correct direction. But dumping the vent hose into the air filter over the clutches is not a good solution. It will def. need a extended vent hose from the ROV and a catch can.

So there is no doubt we a looking for a permanent solution from you Travis!!!

I called the dealer that I got the rov kit from about missing instructions, they forgot to put them back in the box when checking to see that all parts of the kit was there.Do not know if I was suppose to get top page but what it says.

After reading this page I called the dealer that resealed my oil tank in November (different dealer than I got the kit from)They said they just found out about this updated kit 2 weeks ago and that it was only to be available to dealers and that they could only order it when they put in a pre authorization with the affected sleds vin.The service manager told me to return kit where I purchased it from and bring my sled to them and they will put in updated kit.

Also when I asked if it was a recall or a service bulletin they said no,that it was an update lol.

I will be calling me dealer on Monday

From Minnesota and I just ordered the kit thru partzilla and got confirmation....looks like we will lose accessory plug in by oil tank(damn)....the other plug there doesn't look like it will work

They make a splitter so you can turn it into 2 accessories

Is this a Canadian recall only? :dunno: LOL
No Recall, i called yamaha asking get mine updated ,they said there is no recalls on my sled 2019 srx and if i brought it to my dealer and they say i need it yamaha will cover it, when asking the dealer they don't even know what a roll over valve is, brutal

Looks like I'll just keep the hose fix which has posed zero problems!

Yes that is true,
In only 800 km on my sled I had a lot of oily water in my air box and at the bottom on panel under the belt.
Hate to say it but I just extended the hose to under the motor where it can leak onto the access door of the oil filter.

Any issue with this? My dealer just called and told me he put the new kit on mine and told me the hose running into the airbox is big! I'm not liking this idea. Did you buy a longer hose to run it down to the access door?

No issues at all, I took the easy way and added a 5/8” barb connector and a piece of hose to the existing hose that went into the air box and just routed it under the engine compartment.
The cleaner way would be to run a 5/8” id hose from the out of the valve to anywhere but inside the air box.
