I know there are other parts vendors out there and others have their preference but have you checked with Travis (@hibshman25 ) of Barn of Parts which is also a site sponsor? I am in the process of ordering a clean empty primary from him for under; had the outer sheave cracked so just opted to replace the whole unit than deal with splitting, re-torquing, and more than likely, re-balancing.

Im sorry, what is that referencing?!?!

So am I correct in saying, that one should get the Apex style clutch that has set screws on both the lower roller pins and the top weight roller pins?

I am running a FX Nytro primary on my tuned sidewinder. It doesn't have the set screws for roller pin. Works fine.

I still have my stock primary on my 2017 LTX-LE. It went 5500 miles before 1 roller bushings wore. Tried different rollers, a 14.5 mm Yamaha roller with the green torlon bushings, they didn’t last at all and in fact took out my weights also because they wore so quick and caused the roller to gouge the stock weights! That could have been worse if gone on longer for sure! Then new weights and G force 15mm rollers with brass bushings, they lasted a bit longer but had problems with new stock weights(two wear lines on each weight! So back to my Dalton QAY 70 with Thunder Product 14.8 mm rollers! Still on first set but ordered another set because I have one roller that wears first since always, with any roller, so I stay on top of my primary! Thunder seems best compared to stock and so much cheaper price wise! So yes, I’m sure this is why many have taken these junks off and replaced with Apex style or other!! Sounds familiar to many right? First time out today for this season, rpms at 9100 and seeing 130 on Speedo, felt good!!

I run the Older style Apex primaries with all the set screws on all our sleds 2 stroke and 4 strokes...they are a very reliable robust clutch.

Those are hard to find! Been keeping my eyes peeled for one!

Really dont know how much big iron will be there. Looks like it could be a time to see what you have compared to others. I would go but can't ride due to injury...
