None for me. I won't be buying another new Yamaha until they make a new version of the Nytro. That's been my long range plan since the beginning. But, with the way prices keep escalating, I'll be buying a left over version of the new Nytro.

Can't believe how expensive sleds are getting! Thing is, they are total pieces of sh!t (all brands) when compared to 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. Quads just seem to run forever and ever. Dirt bikes are good to as they hold up far better than a sled when to ridden hard.

No new sled for me this year. In light of the cost of the new lineup I am opting to purchase a different recreational vehicle this year.

The wingspan of your new ride is gonna work great for clearing trails.

I was about 80% on a new Apex. Now I'm about 30%. I expected a price increasew tih PS, was expecting $5-$800. $2600 over a 2010 is just too much. I have an 08 40th. Have to have some sense....

Wife wants to get rid of her Doo and get a Vector. Doesn't like silver and likes the concept of power steering. I think this new color is going to cost me an additional 5K.

IF I was buying a new one, it would be a 1200 Renegade X package. A new sled won't be in the cards for a long time!

How can anyone afford an 2011 Yamaha at $15,000???!!! Come on pretty soon sleds are going to be $20,000 in the next 2 years.

No new sled for me, pricing is way out of WACK!...but maybe a new 850XP "EPS" POLARIS ATV that I can use 12 months a year, after the last 2 @$#% winters we've had I think I'm throwing the towel in! its finally getting to me...

I might have my '08 APEX LTX up for sale! I can't justify the cost of TRAIL passes INSURANCE,MAINTENANCE...for maybe 2 months of the year (8 weekends/year) lucky this year if I put in 3 maybe 4.

Maybe the thought from Yamaha is "We need to clear out some of the leftover Apex line...Let's just produce 100 limited 2011's for $$$ and we'll get rid of the crates over there in the corner."

Trouble is, they didn't call the 2011's a limited edition??

Let's face it. Like everything, they're banking on selling mid line products to some and a few to the people to can afford to sled at any cost. You know, the ones with HUGE lake houses, HUGE trucks, HUGE trailers.

Personally, I have to say that renting is more and more appealing. For me, just the cost of spending a couple of hundred to change a wheel or clean the jets or new hyfax combined with storage, hotels and the few times (particularly this year) to ride is making me rethink my ownership all together let alone buying a new sled.

I'd seriously LOVE to see the Apex sales stats, year over year. Especially about 15 months from now!!!

x2 exactly what I was thinking! ;)! a different sled every ride...

If I bought a new sled I think I would try a Doo 1200 X Gade...Plus you can find a lot of left over 2009 and 2010 for a great deal. New Yamaha Apex's are just to much for me to spend.

If i bought a new 2011 Apex it would just stay parked in the garage and I wouldn't be able to ride it.

$10,000 for a new sled right now and at least $2000-$3500 a year to ride it. That's going on a couple of trips and riding around locally.
