They're looking quite different, I have never seen a configuration like that on a sled before. It may take you some time for it to sink in. But it's just like fog lights on cars, I think they're looking cool, I think they'll look great when you're out riding in the dark.

I had these on my RTX. It helped out really well. I saw everything both on and off the gas. I'm surprised they survived that wreck actually. lol. They were a little banged up, but still work. I may go with round ones so the angles are not so appearant.

why not mount them out on the spindles somehow, and run the wire through the a arm. When you turn the skis the lights would turn. Be sweet deal then. Maxdlx

I think they would be bouncing around to much. Good idea tho. Being mostly on rough trails, I would think it would get annoying. lol

Yea they will be unsprung down at the spindles taking much harder hits than in the current position where they are a part of your sleds sprung mass. Just my 2 cents

Been a busy day or two for me.
I have almost the entire Supercharger installed. I have installed the Parker Knock box sensor, blower oil temp sensor. I have allot yet to install, tho. Just been taking my time and trying to do a good job. Here's some pics of the progress this far.
The odd ball T is where I decided to T into the lines for my boost and BOV. Hope that spot works. lol The other end goes into the bottom of the sensor mounted on the fuel rail towards the front of the sled. ( MAP Sensor )

Looking good Vince
Very clean install. I haven't seen a MPI SC in person so it's nice to see what it looks like in your pics. Keep me updated on how she runs when all is done and you've got some seat time on it. Maybe a SC is in my future to go with my next sled purchase.

A bit more done today.
Ran part of my new Aux. Harness that I am making wire by wire. ( In the rear of the sled ) I don't quite have it weatherized yet, but soon. I'm basically going to have two wiring harnesses. The stock one and my Aux. harness will be for all my other goodies. In the harness to the rear, I also ran my L.E.D. leads and hooked up my 02 sensor. The L.E.D.'s will be switched along with the 4 little lights I have holding the snow flap in place. ( I have a pic of these in an earlier post.) These will come on ONLY with the reast of my L.E.D.'s. The new light bar I have is plenty bright enough, so I might as well run that one full time.
I still have to install my new fuse block. I'm going to fab up a little aluminum bracket to mount this. I'm thinking it will go in the nose cone. Then I can just run my front half of the new harness right along the delta box frame. This New fuse block will run all my gauges & sensors, L.E.D.'s, The extra 55w driving lights, Water/Methonal Injection, ( When I get it, lol ), Nitrous System ( Again, when I get it ) and a few other things I'm thinking about. There is always next summer for this stuff. lol
My Alarm will be wired into the stock harness. It has to be this way, I'll feel safer. lol This I WILL NOT be posting picks of the install for obvious reasons. lol
All my vacuum lines are now T'd in:
-MPI Controller ran strait to the Intercooler, per MPI Instructions
-My Autometer C2 series Boost/Vacuum gauge T'd in with the stock MAP sensor
-The BOV T'd in with the MAP Sensor and Boost/Vacuum gauge
I have the S/C installed complete. Just have to add oil to both the blower and the engine. I decided to change my oil as well. Complete oil and filter by Amsoil.
Oil: 4stroke Full synthetic 0w-40
Filter part Number:EaOM103
I have also included pics of how I wired everything under the IC. I did slightly different from the MPI instructions. There were quite a few things I did different. Like the E-brake relocation I did not do. I didn't feel like drilling anymore on this sled. I drilled enough holes in this sled, per MPI.
I had to take a shot of her from above. It's been awhile since I've seen this sled dressed. lol
Tech Tip: While I had my plastic and seat off, I noticed the fuel lines move around and were showing signs of wear. So I put some Velcro on the tank and fuel lines to hold them in place. NO MORE WEAR.

I finally got to fire her up today for the first time. Man, does it ever sound kewl. Only had a couple issues. I had two errors come up, 15 and 84. Then the sled would only run for about 2 minutes then die. Start right back up, do the same. I unplugged the MPI Box, put the sled back to stock and she ran just fine, NO ERRORS at all???????? I'll check the TPS sensor and most likely bypass the T.O.R.S. ( Just like I have on all my other Yamaha's. )
but hey, it started, so I'm ahead already...lol
I will play around with the box this weekend and should have final picks ready to show.
The only thing I will not have installed are my L.E.D.'s. These were the less important thing, so they were put off til last. Might get 7" this weekend, so I wanna run it, if we get it......

If you unplugged the box and it now runs fine you have a bad fuel controller. I would contact whoever you bought the kit from right away and possibly contact MPI as well. Was this kit brand new when you bought it?

Yeap. bought it new. I called HAUCK. Titus said to call MPI as I'll get it faster that way rather than shipping mine to them and they shipping to MPI. I'll call MPI today. I hope this doesn't take long. I have a trip in 2 weeks.
Allen, isn't this stuff like QA passed or something before it leaves MPI?
This doesn't make my day AT ALL......
