I surrender, Have a couple winder questions?

Me as well, which is why I am wondering about the range on a tank of gas. If I leave Minocqua and head to Gogebic there is a long stretch where there isn't gas available other than a few bar pumps that I prefer to avoid.

That's a great ride. Ya know....I've always been afraid of bad gas with 2s. Especially carb. Lol.
The fear is slipping away with 4s. If that makes sense. You can definitely run questionable fuel (not that I'm looking for that, lol!) With more confidence that things won't go south. Probably wouldn't load up on it then pin it across lake Gogebic looking to break a speed record. Right?

Early season fuel is the worst.

My tuned winder gets variable mileage. Depends on trail conditions. I would say between 13.5 and 15.5 is average for me.
Last couple of rides were very fast because of hard icy, bullet proof trails and iced over lakes. There was a lot of WOT and still got over 15MPG.

850. Better gas mileage and easier in the twisties. Likes to lift skis. The Sidewinder better in every other way including long ride comfort and sound

How about the tunnel coolant hose that can tear apart, especially when your touring?? That's enough to keep me thinking.

My Dad has a 2017 LTX SE that is stock. He ran out of fuel a couple weeks ago at 155 miles.

His sled has 3,500 miles. Original belt, no issues. He added a 4th wheel kit, Pilot Skis, and the barn of parts MPS kit. This is his 10th new sled since 1995 and Ive never seen him so happy with a sled!
I don't have the miles as some do, as they come hard in these parts, still under a thousand, but our trails are cowpaths, woods, mud, uncut road banks, etc.and some big fields with fun things like drainage ditches and swamps...I go to tug hill for a REST!..lol....this thing is the most solid, funnest, strongest, heaviest (except for the skandic groomer) fastest, BESTEst sled ever....it does anything I want, and more and, did I say FAST?
Wanna cut the drifted road bank? Get on top and use the thumb, making sure they stay back a thousand feet!LOL. Do it twice so the fragile sleds don't break in half.
The SE shock package, after adjustment, works great for me...don't even touch them anymore.
I've seen up to 14, on tug hill. Around home, less, but not bad at all considering it's all rip and tear.
