Will be several more weekends of riding up there for sure, and we will likely head up in a couple weeks.
Riding here today, locally...our trails are BEST ive seen. Firm, smooth, not a bump all day really. Since they changed them to yellow on guide noone is riding here, and so it was a mint day. Dwight,Kearney,Sand lake, Sprucedale....all mint, what a blast. Still 26inches of snowpack here on my stick, and a very thick base on trails and lots ice on lakes, so dont need to head north yet for us.
Up north was meant for Winders!
Few pics from today locally!

Wish I could join you guys, just spent 3 days in Timmins just got back home today (Sunday) put on just over 1000km including a Timmins up to Canyon and back to Timmins loop yesterday for 470km, that was amazing! Nothing like casually cruising at 90mph for what seems like forever, insane.
5350km/3326miles on the sled this season, bout 3800 of that up in Northern Ontario, sledding is epic!

Was thinking of heading to South River this past weekend but wasn't sure with all the rain that was received, my buddy ended up bailing, kind of wish I would of still went anyway! Looking to head to Cochrane from March 28 to April 1, hopefully trails will hold up for a while longer.

All those northern trails are where the Winder shines. Northern Ontario's great and also I really love Rouyn,Val-d'Or,Amos,Matagami areas.....simply incredible how Qc clubs keep things up there and always well worth a 3 day permit or even a seasonal. We are very lucky to have those type of super highway trails within just a few short truck hours.Wish I could join you guys, just spent 3 days in Timmins just got back home today (Sunday) put on just over 1000km including a Timmins up to Canyon and back to Timmins loop yesterday for 470km, that was amazing! I would guess those areas will have a few more weekends of riding....Looks like this coming weekend will be riding again locally, Sunday looks to be quite mild at this early juncture, but we have lots of snowpack still.
Gotta just love how the Winder cruises without effort around 70-90. Its truly is amazing to have this kind of big power up north. When they are working right, and not breaking down drivetrain, you just gotta love them!

Where are you all riding too? Did the northern loop family day weekend. Rode from Sudbury to Elliot lake, to wawa to Hearst to Cochrane, did the loop and checked out fire tower and then rode to timmins and then back to Sudbury.
Headed up somewhere March 28, thought about dropping in Kirkland lake or New Liskeard but haven’t really decided where we are going to ride, definitely heading to Cochrane. Might explore some of the loops in the area as when we have always done the big loop we have stayed on main trails.

Sounds similar to what we are doing.
Leaving tomorrow from Kirkland lake to Foleyet.
Thursday to Wawa
Friday to Kapuskasing
Saturday back to Kirkland lake via Timmins trails.
Wawa to Kap in a day should be interesting! (470kms)
We’ve never been east of timmins and Hearst so super pumped to check out Chapleau, Wawa, Deuberville, etc

I have heard the loops North of Hearst are great too, but I haven't done those yet.
