I ordered a SS 6mm with shoulder works great I actually have 3 spares

Got them installed today. These are way cool and well worth the wait!
They should be in the Yamaha accessory catalog for sure. I knew you would like them. Don't ask how many pages I looked at on ebay to find them LOL

Could you post a part number or a link to it? There are so many choices...! This is a great find, btw. Somehow I can't justify $18 for a bolt, no matter how fancy.

SounderMN I ordered McMaster-Carr P/N# 92558A220 $12.63 ea, There are several choices of different material to choose from as long as its 6mm x 1mm.
I used these guys all the time at my job, They have a ton of stuff there.

The easiest and cheapest solution is to leave the screw out. I haven't lost a seat yet.

Huh! My seat bracket broke (how, I don't know) while riding and my seat fell off while standing going through a rough section of trail. Had to tie it down with a scarf to get me home.

Might try this
Local fastener store
Metric Allan head bolt with a cap to make a thumb screw
Added some glue then pressed cap on
Added a nut so it would bottom out sooner

Did you have a screw in it when it broke?

Whats nice about this knob is its big enough that it will rub on bag rather than the sharp sheetmetal latch. Plus its so easy to order from them. Dont know how they ship so fast but its usually one day for me.

my latch broke too....you definately need a screw of some kind to keep seat secure
