Sorry for getting you guys riled up! When I buy a Yamaha 4st I have every intention of keeping it 20,000 mi+. So depreciation is really not a factor for me. Will eventually try to get my oldest daughter off Phazer and onto Viper. She would rather ride the Cat though. Doesn't like the viper. I think its just the seat difference that forces her forward and being small legs are forced apart. The Cat has lower seat and actually feels like Phazer when sitting. Anyhow not getting rid of Viper anytime soon. Person has to set goals. 110mph in perfect snow is attainable and if I get it whining will end. I will say this. That Cat got 103mph GPS same day same track Viper got 107mph gps. But the cat only has a clutch kit that was never tuned all stock otherwise so I do not consider Viper a 800 since Viper has a lot of mods. 600's are not a challenge unless internal mods such as porting etc are done. I guess I never really ran a 600 for really long distance since they have all given up way before then. Even when I was pretty much stock. Man we need snow! All work no play makes Steve a crabby boy. Can ya tell!
