Silly question, the driver need to get pressed off the shaft?I would do a new shaft and bearing and use the BOP wedgy also.

you can get the whole assembly as one piece with drivers already on or just the shaft.
US pricing is only $100 more for complete assembly, not sure CAD.

Bring it to your dealer. My complete shaft assembly was replaced under warranty. Drivers and all, it came complete, like in the pic above.

Has anyone been able to find out what the factory spec is on the diameter where the bearing goes on? If the shaft is new and the bearing is new, we'd want it virtually line-to-line meaning you'd have to push with some pressure on the bearing (freeze the shaft in the freezer and warm the bearing up in an oven to maybe 200 F) and housing to get it to go on. Even if that was the case, I'd still either green loctite it and/or use the BOP wedgy gizmo. I'd still like to know what the actual drawing shows for that diameter. Are new shafts from yamaha going to be better? Should I find a machine shop to weld and machine instead?

Did they replace it even with just the shaft not the machine? My sled is darn near 1 year since I bought it I will have to check when I picked it up. The dealer I bought from is absolute garbage for service so I would have to go to another dealer.Bring it to your dealer. My complete shaft assembly was replaced under warranty. Drivers and all, it came complete, like in the pic above.

Just another tip for guys uploading pics...
I love the GOOGLE PHOTOS APP for smartphones....
You open the app, ALL your photos will upload from phone to GOOGLE photos, FREE!..Just choose the correct sizing info within settings of the app. You can choose to keep original photos on phone, or delete them saving tons of space on phone then.
Ive been using the google photos app now for 2 yrs and love it. You then can add those pics to most all forums easily, and emails ect...or even texts.
Hard to beat FREE storage, I literally have every single pic ive ever taken going back forever....all on there, free. It automatically sorts them into date, as long as images have the meta-data within the file.
Also love the BOP "wedgie". Works awesome, I set it at 40 ft lbs on a sled with 550 miles(odo)

**UPDATE**
I went to the dealer today, they said they would need the whole sled to do anything.....I'm like that's not an option so they said they would look at the driveshaft and let me know. They did say that they have never ordered a new shaft for anyone even for warranty.....which I found a little odd. $500 CDN for new shaft with drivers....no way I would do that so worst case I will clean up what I have, get a new bearing, use green loctite and the BOP Wedge and hope it's good.

Update on this, dealer wasn't willing to do anything unless I brought them the whole sled. Ain't gonna happen, so I brought it to my machine shop and he's going to weld and machine it to fit a new bearing. Once I get it finished I will post pics and share details in case anyone else local needs it done.
Then add the Wedge and it will be last time you ever have to do it. Drivers wear pretty quick though.Update on this, dealer wasn't willing to do anything unless I brought them the whole sled. Yeah, I showed him the wedge he's like what's this weird contraption lol he thought it would expand the spline area where the brake rotor is but when we looked at it it was clear that it wouldn't. He was impressed. Then add the Wedge and it will be last time you ever have to do it. Drivers wear pretty quick though.
So welded and machined shaft, green Loctite, wedgy thing, shiukd be good!
If its sized right and you use the wedge then skip the Green Loctite.Yeah, I showed him the wedge he's like what's this weird contraption lol he thought it would expand the spline area where the brake rotor is but when we looked at it it was clear that it wouldn't. He was impressed.

OK noted! If its sized right and you use the wedge then skip the Green Loctite.
Remember your going to want to keep an eye on this every season for sure. That green Loctite makes it difficult to remove the Caliper.
