Looking to upgrade my new Winder's stock clutching. TPI rollers, glide washers, secondary spring and primary spring. Later after I tune it I will get the flyweights. What is the recommended twist for the orange secondary spring with the stock helix? What will be the engagement with the TPI Sidewinder primary spring?

You might as well order the whole kit it will save you money in the long run and the kit works very well stock to 285hp instead of piecing together the weights primary spring and glide washers separate. Set the secondary spring to 3-3. You will see gains with the weights even stock.

The orange primary spring won’t work with the stock weights as it’s different than the stock spring. Set the helix at 3-3.

That I didn't know. You can however just change the orange secondary spring with the stock weights right? The orange primary spring won’t work with the stock weights as it’s different than the stock spring. Set the helix at 3-3.

Huh, I just installed both orange springs and I talked to lonn on the phone and he didn't say anything about it not working with stock weights. He said that the oem spring wasn't consistent and there was coil bind, there spring is shorter to eliminate that. I also put in glide washers.

Your engagement will most likely be pretty low, but you might like it.Huh, I just installed both orange springs and I talked to lonn on the phone and he didn't say anything about it not working with stock weights. I don't mind a low engagement especially when we're out west

No. They are cat rollers.

I gave them a full inspection and clean up when I installed the new springs and Glide washers.

You got me. I haven’t been stock since the 300 mile mark early last year. Lol. But I know it will be lower with our spring and stock weights. What is the stock engagement, i never paid attention.
