when you are running over 20psi, what fuel do you running on??

And what compression do you get whit low comp pistons?

VP Q-16

Low compression Pistons are off the shelf available in 10.0:1 and 9.0:1
but you can order custom Pistons any compression you like.

Ted.

ran 18-22 last year stock motor two head gaskets, with a 30 hp shot of nitrous no problems, biult the motor this year haven,t been over 22 yet but should beable to due 30lbs. running 100 octane with meth injection when needed.

26 on a stock motor with only a shim and head studs.
:die :die

What were your running on that huge pull in TS7 that was awsome, is a propane kit worth it in your opinion it really looks like it.

Over the last few years I have been helping out with an RX1 powered turbo open mod sled.

They don't have much luck with motors living due to No Cooling system but I can only provide the info what they do with it is they're choice.

They have gone through 2 built motors and 2 stock motors.

But in the interm they actually got more runs out of the stock used motors than the built ones.

both ran 28 psi boost, sled has gone 4.02 on the grass, and 4.90 on the ice.

The moral of the story is the motors are real tough with Proper Care and Feeding.

ted,how long would you leave it cool down before making another pass at 660 ft .thanks

I like to run mine at 120 at the beginning of a run.

How long it takes to get down to this temp depends on many factors, install temp gauge is the best advice I can give.
