Good to have extra warranty for the Viper, you must of liked the Apex's if you owned 3, you really raised the bar buying a 14 Viper, as far as a Apex disappearing in your rear view mirror buddy on the Apex must have been stopped and taking a piss.
Hey wait a minute, that was me pissing

All the speculation about AC having a monorail rear suspension coming out is interesting. It makes me wonder whether Arctic Cat may actually have some big changes coming this year, maybe even a replacement for the Pro Cross chassis, with its mountain sleds having the monorail?
What if Yamaha got the rights to the Pro Cross chassis and started building snowmobiles at their plant in Georgia? There is probably still some room for improvement in the Pro Cross chassis without scrapping it. Yamaha overall build quality, Yamaha's ECU, and maybe some upgrades and tweaks to the Pro Cross suspension, making it a true Yamaha sled, oh well, I can dream can't I?

There is a new chassis coming for Cat. My sources usually are good.

The release dates between AC and Y are 9 days apart this year. How far apart were the dates when the SW and T-Cats were released?

Good question! As I said earlier, there is supposedly a new pure Yamaha...not sure what. But also there is suposedly more shared sleds too.
We’ll know soon enough.

Looking at Snowmobile.com, it looks like both Yamaha and Arctic Cat unveiled their 2018 lineups on February 27, 2017.
Yamaha is obviously leaving time for the dust to settle after AC's big announcement. If 2019 is just more sharing of the AC chassis, a joint release would have made more sense, so maybe, just maybe, Yamaha really does have something new that is all theirs. With all this speculation and our high hopes, I hope we are not all sadly disappointed.

Joint press releases get you half the coverage value. If you have anything that differentiates you at the product level, you want to do your own release so that you can control coverage and spin it your own way. I would expect that things like contracts get co-announced/released but individual products will receive their own GTM (go to market) plans if for no other reason than to not confuse the dealers who are the first line consumers of news information.
Japanese companies in general are very slow to move on press with layers of bureaucracy, not saying that this is happening here, its just speculation from having dealt with Sony, Panasonic (Matsushita), and others. Culturally they have their own timing and an insistence on protocol that is somewhat gravity/logic defying at times. You also have to consider who will get the most coverage, if Yamaha as a brand is likely to get broader coverage, then any announcement from Yamaha is likely to dwarf an announcement from Artic Cat, at the end of the day they both have corporate responsibilities and have to look out for their own brand equity. IOW it won't hurt Yamaha to let AC go first but the other way around might not be true.

Uhhh, can you repeat the part of the stuff where you said all about the things? Kidding, that’s a nice write upJoint press releases get you half the coverage value.
