the gt 20 is to small on the turbine side, it has way too much backpressure and will cause higher egts and less hp, you will wreck the engine with continued use. the gt25 is a much better choice. it is our base turbo and works great for all applications, if you want alittle more hp, and are willing to give up alittle low end response, then the gt28 is for you. i can set you up with either turbo that will be a direct bolt on to your kit. as for turbo sizing. you have to look at the maps to see where you are, and where you want to be, there is alot that goes into sizing a turbo. jeff

Finally some nice weather on a Sunday. Running at ESTA temps were in the mid 80's with low humidity. I left the time slips in the trailer, so going from memory here's the times from my 5 runs...
60' -- 1.48 to 1.51
1/4 -- 11.14 to 11.21
mph -- 111 to 113
Lost in the quarter finals running 11.14 on 11.16 dial.
This was with rpms at 9800 climbing to 10000. Not where it should be, but didn't want to change anything during eliminations with only 2 trial runs. Very close to my top time, so this is good sign for once I get the weights figured out for the new helix.

Nice job Corey, did you have to make many changes when you went from a 15 to 10.5 track?and were 60ft close to the same?

I never ran a 15" track. I've got the 136" rear suspension so only the 10.5 is available. I think Terry has run both.

Corey - I see that clutching info is helping. That is what I ran all last year.
Will send the Chok today.
Allen, got clutch parts on Saturday.
Tyler, suspension/track is in, cylinders are back on, and chain case is all new. it fired right up, and just a few more items to take care of, and it will be ready for her maiden voyage with the new owner. ($%^&, are my fingers and back sore!)

I am planning on it, but don't know for sure. Tyler told me to power up the powervalves, and check them at full by the exhaust port. I have them matched pretty well.
I am going if some personal things don't go right. Went to the doctor yesterday, and didn't hear the best of news. The possibility of having a tumor on my 8th Accustic nerve in my right ear. But need to wait it out a week. Not letting it get to me tho.

How consistent is your friends stock skid?Is that a new track or was it broken in prior to his sled?Nice

It ran just about identical et's all 3 times.Yes the track is brand new not even broken in.The thing is hooking up but probaly carrying the the ski's about 16" all the way to the 60ft mark.Next week I'm going to throw some of my clutch parts in it and he's going to tighten the rear spring.I put a solid adj. strut in place of the center shock and took off the transfer rods.
