Loved finding this one after pulling it out of storage. For some reason the rear bolt backed out and slightly egged out. I check this thing religiously because I've always had a problem with egged holes.

So what do I do? Some people say fill and drill but my welder says that always weakens the aluminum. I wish it was steel like my kids RR so I could just mig it. I do have the Lenoco steel bushing inserts that I put on the kids RR rail but I'm not sure if I have enough material to use it.

Travis has a repair plate. And I bought the piece under running board, drilled out the crazy rivets and put new plate in. Was a pain in #*$&@ an only fixed half the thickness of hole. I’ve heard some people tacking in a washer on backside also

Yamamark made his own brackets for this.
It is post on here somewhere.
I think he put a bushing in there also.

Buy a skid rail insert and drill out your hole slightly larger. Arctic cat part 3604-266 which is $3.25. This insert is where the front suspension arm mounts to the rail so it's good quality bushing that I have yet to see wear out.
It's basically a bushing with a large shoulder on one side. No need to weld a washer on if you use this. Press this in from the inside and you're good to go. Part #2 in diagram.

That’s what I did for my cross shaft for center shock too

I wish those inserts were stock in every hole! I am pretty religious about cleaning,Loctite,Torque and even paint marking but still have been bit by a loose bolt on occasion. Part of the problem is the Powdercoating on rails/brackets behind bolts. It deteriorates and then you have a loose bolt. I noticed on Polaris skids they dont Powdercoat behind the bolts.

I ageee. It’s in the front arm why not every pivot point? It’s a minor thing but that an top gear are 2 biggest imo

Because of cost.

Also the RR has steel as the drop link.

This is the bushing I'm talking about. I've looked around for it and it looks like the lencconguy is the only one that sells it. Those serrated teeth really grab
