CorrectWhat did you do? Did you put a T where the valve was and then a drip leg off that? Then you are not using the valve and catching all the crap in the drip leg.

also considered a catch can, but this is fine for now.

Had a mechanic buddy who works on race cars drop off some some heavy duty hose that was lying around the shop. It's universal and resistant to oil and several fuel types. It's slightly larger in diameter and holds a more than enough pressure than the 5/8 inch heater hose I had on it that deteriorated and leaked everywhere. I'm hoping this is the final round. I'll be testing it out in Quebec this weekend.

Roger that! Roger that. I'm putting this fuel line crap in today and I will be in Quebec next week for 7 days and hopefully I won't have any issues. I'm sick of this bull crap roll over valve. How can they design a valve that accumulates this liquid #*$&@ that when very cold will freeze the valve closed and blow the oil seal in the tank? WTF were they thinking? This will also be my last time I will mess with this mod.Had a mechanic buddy who works on race cars drop off some some heavy duty hose that was lying around the shop. Funny story about the Roll over valve: I ran into a guy in the Moombeam clubhouse on my last trip and we started chatting as he runs an Sidewinder 141 and he asked my what I did with my Roll over valve. Told him I did the bypass as I don't do any off trail so I didn't really need it. I said to him you have a 141. Don't you do any off trail? He responded yes every day. I said well what did you do? He unzips his jacket like a Rolex sales man and produces the Roll over valve. I nearly died laughing [emoji23] in his French/English accent he says I put it in when I need it and when I don't I rip it out. Classic trail side fix.Roger that! Roger that. Joe,
Make sure you put a rearward cut on the bottom of that hose and I'm sure it will be the last time you mess with it and it will be just fine.

Thanks Mike I will do that and I also will put a slit in the hose up higher behind the chain case just in case the outlet freezes.Joe,

OK another attempt at this with the right hose. Notice I have the roll over valve in place and ready to hook up. If I have any issues with the mod next week up in Quebec the hose to the valve goes back in.

5/8 fuel line around 4 feet long. Any hose that will work with oil will be fine and 5/8 is the easiest to use and hook up to the oil tank. What type & size hose and how long is it?
Thanks

Thanks we are leaving from Temiscaming on Monday and hitting La verendry lodge - Amos - Mattagami _ La Sarre - Val dOre and back. My Wife is having surgery the day after we get back and hopefully we will then head up to Gaspe second week of March. We are tired of this Winter so we have to go where the snow is.

Since it was 75 today, and the apex is all apart, I took the muffler off the sw, checked stuff, found the inside turbo bolt gone (the other day, actually) so made up a wrench to tighten the bolt, while replacing the easy one with a new one and lockwasher. In the process I think I've decided to keep the stock rov, remove the factory hose and save it, replace it with standard fuel line, with a 't' and route the hose like most have, only it will be sealed at the end, with a slit cut in it down near the running boards, and I'll cut the slit length depending in how hard it is to blow through it...making it similar to the pressure to open the rov, or a little more, so the pressure still goes through the rov. If too easy, I'll tighten it up with a zip tie, in effect, making my own duck bill valve. This will keep the stock system functioning, but in case the rov fails, the slit will relieve tank pressure. The apexs, vectors, etc. all route the slime into the air box to be burned..as does the sw system. Maybe not great, but the sled runs perfect so just want a 'just in case 'fix.

Here is the drip leg i used, and just to be clear there has been next to no accumulation of moisture.

Ok, so I plugged the rov outlet running, and sure enough, I could feel air coming out the slit. It can be adjusted with the hose clamp, as I want most to go through the valve as designed, for good or for bad, but if the valve fails, I have a pressure release so as not to blow the seal. Or, just move the clamp and let more blow out the slit. Hose just lies in front of the footwell, super easy to check. As for rollover, how much oil could realistically leak out of that slit, not being under pressure? If I'm upside down, that's the least of my worries.
