Getting rid of the roll over valve

Yea at least they addressed the freezing issue. Not perfect BUT still better then what we had. Not seeing the thinking on the whole water vapor and goo going into air intake as a engineering marvel by any means. This was the one thing that has always made me scratch my head from day one on these winders. I remember the first time I took my air box foam out and looked down the tube with s flash light. “WTF is that” if remember correctly.
Goo back into intake is for emissions, so I have been left to believe.

It is just that....for emissions. This way the oil spray/vapor doesn't just go out onto the trail or atmosphere

Yes it does go out into atmosphere eventually when all of us clean out the whole intake tract. Remove/flush intercooler (every year) = 2-3 cups of goo! Remove & flush boost tubes & turbo inlet tube = 1 cup sludge.

Not in the form of Vapor. Its the same as emissions on a car or truck.

And is the heater on a timed circuit? If not how long will it last? Remember electric chokes on carbs? Looks real similar to me. Good luck. Rollover valve with tether is still best solution to me.

Yep I have all the answers... LOL Pretty soon you guys can build your own sled. So many engineers on this site, you think it would sell?

It will probably have power whenever the sled is running. Looks like the same heater as on the bottom of many Yamaha carbs.

No way if I get a 20 would run anything but the bypass I have for tons of miles. Just have to find the power source or fuse on that heater if possible. But it only took three years of sleds to change anything. LOL

I guess if a guy never went off trail and never had to roll sled it would be great. I always seem to either want to roll sled or end up track side up so eliminating is not even a possibility.

Its real easy to say we trail guys will never roll it on its side.. till it happens.

How hard is it to pull the IC? Something i may look into tomorrow
