Mach Z not stock king of the lake.

Slo998, with all the power in that thunder, and the way you like big speeds, you need to be in the 1.3 range!! Lol
I'm going to take the weight saving approach and start removing nonessential weight.... bolts, ski loops, hand guards etc. What do you think?!

Have you had a chance to run your 900R against other 900R sleds like an XRS or Mach? This thread was originally about the Mach. I have heard multiple reports of slow Machs but I know they are quite a bit heavier than your adrenaline. I wasn’t sure if the weight was a factor on snow, or if it was nothing more than a number on paper.

I didn't get to run an actual Mach so I can't comment.
I ran another 900R & we were neck & neck everywhere.

I'd get a second set of eyes to look at the 2017 winder here with stage one tune. Clearly that should be the fastest sled in this bunch. It can't beat another stock winder with heavier rider....?
I agree
I used to pull stock Winders on that sled & a few more on top
He never launches good with every excuse there is
Maybe the belt was old cuz it broke on one pull, but I think it only had 500 miles on it.
I think it was faster than the other Winder, it just never got the chance to prove it.

We DON't race all day.
Mostly pull up while riding , juke the throttle a few times to let other know what's going down then BLAMMMM
Race is on

On Saturday we rode down to horseshoe lake near perry sound , they had radar runs there 1320 ft . My totally stock 23 srx was 102 , no studs snow covered lake , the boost I ride with 96 studs and titanium muffler ran 102 also . We also raced down the lake the boost pull out a length , then the srx slowly goes by with a faster top end . Not bad for 8 year old technology, & kind of embarrassing for the other manufacturers as this sled will go down as the most dominant sled ever .
Take the loud muffler off and it would go 104 lol
Loud hp loss

I laugh when reading your posts Steve but I have had similar results with my 900R Renegade X.mine has run awesome right from the factory. When I went to my dealer for the Dess switch he asked if I wanted the update for my sled. I told them no but I would like my throttle and TPS checked. My throttle was perfect and my TPS was 100%.
My sled runs really strong and is faster than my 2017 Sidewinder. It’s the fastest best all around sled I have ever owned. Now my Sidewinder was stock except for some clutch work. My 900R is bone stock other than the XS821 belt that I would strongly recommend to anyone with a Doo.
The results Steve has posted don’t surprise me one bit.

Not sure what you did for clutching but the SW’s are pretty spot on bone stock, I have seen some guys go backwards clutching a stock Winder.

My 2019 srx pulls 110mph in around 500 to 1000 ft consistenly all stock ,what does that orange cat have done to it that pulls 118 mph in 500 ft?

I spent 500 bucks on a big vendors clutch kit that created lots of belt burning heat. I still have the kit sitting on my shelf in my shop. I ended up putting a Dalton orange secondary spring on it and everything else stock. I never felt the stock clutching was bad but I got sucked in from all the bull crap posted on these forums and it cost me 500 bucks.

You should have left it stock.
