Now I need some help with this one boys. I went with my buddy to Ontario and he bought TYmember badbrad's sled off him. It came with the low shield which my buddy traded me for some side deflectors.

I'm going to run the stock SE shield during the season but when I head to the mountains I'm going to switch to the little guy. BUT, I'm not big on the chrome I'm going to paint it either blue, black or white. Not sure which. Let me know what you guys think I should do.....

Hold that thought... I'll PM ya

Copy Jeff. Holding thought.

UH, are your arms or your brain tired yet?????? Ya know, holdin' that thought could wear a guy out LOL!!

....a little trade might go on, that is what the thought holding was all about.

But anyways I got my OFT extensions so I found some time to mock them up. They looked so good raw I almost polished them instead of powder coating them.....but, I got them over to the powder coater.....and much to my surprise he got them back to me the very next day! They turned out friggin' sweet! ;)!

....sorry my camera sucks :o| It all looks much better in person.

....and what the hell, if you are taking something to the powdercoater you might as well look for other items to do. So I did the rear bumper and the toe holds.

With that stuff out of the way I moved on to installing the K&N intake. Normally I hate moving backwards on a project but what can you do, I changed my mind on something and created a little bit more work.

I took the headlight off, the bars and steering post as well as the radiator shroud however when I got to the air box my night came to a halt. I could not find my 4mm ball end allen key anywhere. I tried some other allen keys and was only able to loosen one of the claps but no luck with the others....so that is that for now.

Also of note..... It was cold in the garage tonight, in fact I turned the heater on for the first time....fall is in the air!

No more work getting done this weekend, off to the lake to put the boat away.

My buddy came over last night he needs to do a track swap on his sled and wanted to be there when I did mine.....and an extra set of hands is great.

I started taking the chaincase apart and OMG! (I think that is what the kids are saying these days.) I've never had a sled with mechanical reverse and I could not believe how complicated the chaincase is.

....and it looks like I've joined the broken bolt club. Sure enough that bottom bolt was broken like I have read about on here and snowest.

So here is where I am at.

Next up is grinding off the front front cooler protectors then installing the Hill-X track. (Need to get that bottom chain case bolt)

I am also ready to put in my OFT Moto-r jake brake.

Well this wasn't fun....

I ground off the welds for the exchanger protectors at the front of the tunnel.. crappy job but it's done.

You can also see the MTX cooler in the second pic.

I went from one of the worst jobs of this build to the best. I installed the Moto-R tether with Jacobson Roll over. You wouldn't believe how easy this is to install. Plug n' play. I installed it so as to delete the kill switch, but it is as simple as plugging in a harness to re-activate the kill switch.

Have a look at this picture. Unless you are very familiar with the wiring of a Nytro you will have a hard time picking out what is Yamaha and what is OFT.......
