My new product for the sidewinder, MPS also works on the Viper so I just wanted to post in the viper section. For detailed info check out the sidewinder thread or my website.

Its really not power steering. Its an assisted leverage steering. The geometry of the steering lever has been changed per your design. It's not really correct to say it's power steering. You need to come up with a way to post it correctly. This is really considered "easier steering" not "power steering".

Looks to me like a Steering Effort Adjuster.

Thanks for clarifying that. As I was thinking there were no pics of the EPS portion of it, as it was intellectual property that he didn't want to show.
We did the opposite on our Wildcats to decrease steering radius by drilling new holes in our spindles to move the rods closer.

Good idea but with that extra leverage out there I'm wondering if it could break the spindle at that point if you ride very aggressive

Call it what you will but it does make a difference. After riding 500 mi I can honestly say I did not miss the EPS from my Apex. Moving to the Viper was a big step in the right direction. The new chassis handles and rides better and is better suited for my style of riding. I would not have made the switch without MPS from Barn of parts.
