Nice Travis...
that looks beefy...your stuff is top notch..
the stock washer with an actual bolt you can get to is nice...for if you were to blow a belt ...you can get a normal wrench in the tool kit on the bolt...unless you carried a socket.......does the float piece actually touch the helix? or would it possibly touch a dalton helix>? I like the counter sunk holes....could they be added 12-3-6-9 o'clock for easier and more access ?
The adjuster that turns on the core does make direct contact with a helix. Is there something unique about dalton helix?
I could potentially do holes at 3-6-9 if the pinch bolt is at 12.

They are up in the store. I should be able to start shipping orders next week as I'm expecting the plastic shim tools by end of this week.

Neat trick I found was take a 14mm box wrench or ratchet. Put it on helix bolt on the right side and push down (clockwise) opens clutch up nicely. I was worried about it over tightening nut or stress on the studs but didn’t even budge the nut it just opened sheaves up nicely. Go figure.
Travis the adjuster looks fantastic tho! Does it still Allow the clutch to have some “float” side to side still?

The raised ring on helix would be in contact with the the adjuster. There would be no contact with the engraved marking area of helix.

When stationary there will be no float as the secondary spring is forcing the helix against the adjuster. Once moving and secondary starts to open the helix slides inward and creates a gap between the helix and adjuster. The gap gives the secondary room to float on the jackshaft.

Think you mean 12mm wrench, but know what you mean as I have done this also

I didn't realize you designed that for Lonn - NICE work, I love this piece! Also, the snowmobilers that don't have the strength in their hands to do the secondary clutch to remove the belt because of diabetes, loss of an arm or people with poor strength. I ride with a lot of friends that have issues....but to make things easier so they CAN go snowmobiling, that is why I created the one for TP.

I have one too and it does work excellent for adjusting deflection however I don't like the fact that it chews up the helix when using it to open the secondary. Maybe my kit is missing a piece?? I'll be opening mine the old fashioned way.I didn't realize you designed that for Lonn - NICE work, I love this piece!

I have an osp piece. Which begs the question, is the adjustor made so guys can run a belt that is questionable. As far as maybe too worn? Or do belt dimensions vary that much at new?

You can check wear specs, belt must be within the min. width range.
How do you like your osp adjuster? I'm trying to figure out which one to get!

Haven't installed. With that said, there is an Allen screw that opens the secondary. Some have ground the screw flat where it hits the plastic washer to keep the plastic washer from getting gouged. If that makes sense.

Just ground my OSP belt removal screw today, smoothed it off nicely. I likely wont even use it for removal since with a yamaha its easy to do without one, by pushing on and rotating. Its the DOOs with compression that the tool works well.
Also, the "plastic washer" on the OSP, is a Very HARD material, so a smoothed off screw wont hurt it at all, and nothing will MARR the helix surface. I designed the first OSP design with float, way back in 2012. Now there are many out there and all work well, but I dont know of any with the hard plastic black spacer that keeps helix pristine.

For me its that the belt widths vary when new. Many of us measure them when buying but the plastic sealed bags makes that inaccurate now. I suspect if they haven't already a adjustable Primary cover like 911 will also be coming for Winders. Same thing can really make aggressive weights and clutching smooth at engagement with these especially if you need to load into trailer or such. Saves belts. Wish the belts were all the same.I have an osp piece. Which begs the question, is the adjustor made so guys can run a belt that is questionable. As far as maybe too worn?
