Sorry I offended you. I need to realize there are so many easily offended people in todays world.Does any body else just roll thier eyes when they see a heading show up with "xp123"???? I do just cant wait to read about more doo garbage, i believe somebody on here wished theyed go back to thier own doo loving site and pack sunshine up each others arsh.
My post has nothing to do with SkiDoo's or any other brand. I've been riding sleds since the late 60's and early 70's. Yes the sleds back then broke down a lot. Today you seldom see any sleds no matter the make broke down on the trails. Yes there still are some that do but when you say there is a Doo on virtually every intersection with the side covers off and guys checking out the clutches it's gone a bit too far.
I ride nothing but 4 strokes and I have gone on saddlebag trips for six or seven days and never opened a side panel.
Not only I don't see all these doo's on virtually every intersection being worked on I don't see any Polaris, Cat or Yamahas on the side of the trail.
Maybe the OP was talking about lunch time and the Doo riders were checking if the food in their Muffpot was cooked?

Not with this kid! I live near the border and can’t wait to get some REAL CANADIAN BEER! I know you Canadians put something in it cause way better than our American/Canadian beer! But then a fight would break out over Canadian vs. American beer!!![]()
I lived up in northern Minnesota, on Lake of the Woods and we spent a lot of time in the boat... you know, visiting our neighbors. May have brought back a case or three. Not with this kid! $90 . Tell me more please ?I don't believe it is in the ECU but there is a parameter we have found to cause the Mach to either go or not go. It's not in the tune its more in the variance of a certain sensor. I have around 1500 miles of messing with our Mach Z these things are incredible trail sleds as far as suspension / ride / handling / fit and finish go the Mach is absolutely the finest machine on snow in that regard. The fastest nope but it can be made to hold its own VERY cheaply for around $90 Cad in parts the Mach can make 20 psi of boost all day long and not throw codesI still hate the throttle and how delayed they are I still can't figure out why they cannot make it work like the 900 N/A or my RXPX 300 but that's for another topic.
Have you been able to make it up to Canada to go riding this season? Quebec has been so bad we have only done day trips there. Have not stayed a single night hoping to next week if this country of ours gets its act together.

I was wondering the same. Could be a simple manual boost controller or some type of added spring pressure to the wastegate would be my guess, but the boost controller would overboost in the midrange you'd think. Maybe an electronic override of some type on a boost sensor perhaps? 20 lbs seems like a lot for not hitting the boost cut it would seem....
No talk of this 20 lbs boost on DooTalk at all however. Seems those guys don't even know how to install a boost gauge on them to find out what their running for boost.

not making it up, I often see Doo's with side panels open, certainly its because the odds of so many following the heard with these machines they are bound to have issues that is very visible at intersections where allot of sleds pull over to check signs and directions. Also, I do not fly through corners at intersections, that wouldn't be safe for me or others on the trails. The blur is from what's in the corner of my eyes as I'm paying attention to what's ahead not what is so much on the side and slightly past...a broke down Doo. hope this explains my earlier comment...seemed pretty straight forward to me the first time though...try expanding your mind a bit and get the gist of what's someones trying to say...it's not just me sending you a message, it's a few other guys on here too. with text its a challenge to understand tone and tenor of what's someones trying to convey...let me make it plain...this is a Yamaha site, trying to convince us our sleds suck might not go over too well. JoeOk it's getting really deep now Joe. I have no idea why guys have to make stuff up? I guess if you are going to do it try to make it somewhat believable. So you go through intersections so fast that the Doo's with their side panels opened are just a blur.
That's some funny stuff right there Joe. Posts like yours make it really hard to read stuff on the internet.
