Going to do the same thing to the SW as I did with my Viper....
Do some testing on clutching from Thunder Products starting this weekend
Get my exhaust from EVO to do decibel testing
(and ECU flash when finished)
Full skid plate from Barn Of Parts
Change to a wider more floatation ski (anybody have some 7 inch for sale?)
Suspension adjustments and pressures for the Floats
4 wheel kit from JT racing
Tether switch, windshield change and hopefully another wrap design

Seeing as you drag on asphalt
any guess on what the sidewinder would run 1/4 mile in stock trim?

My guess with Kirk Robinson's box stock grass run....I'm betting 9.50's easy.

New Sidewinder is home and is in the shop.
First thing I noticed is the seat from the Viper does not fit the Sidewinder.
I noticed the extra little wheel in the middle of the suspension to keep the track from rubbing when compressed....hopefully I will add this mod to my Viper.
Stopped by Thunder Products on my way home from picking up my new Sidewinder and had great discussion with Lonn about what we are going to use for a heavy hitter weight.
Have a timing system now so I can do baseline test runs and report my times while testing clutch kits, exhaust from EVO and belt testing
Speaking of Evolution Powersports, I stopped at EVO's new facility and was amazed at how the new place will be more efficient and has more people working for Jim. The products Jim and everyone at EVO are creating for the Sidewinder and going to knock your socks off!
Currently have EVO's trail muffler and will be doing testing with sound clips and decibel readings from a local DNR agent and comparing my calibrated decibel reader to theirs.

Very interested in your testing results with the heavy hitters. I have ran Thunder stuff for about 5 years on the Cat side. Lonn is a hoot to chat with about clutching!

Do you think the weights from the big venom kit will be heavy enough for the sidewinder ?
