No tune, stock belt.
You should be good. If you develop a problem let us know. Thank you.

Reading about all these belt blowing issues with the orange spring, 33/35 helix has me worried to run mine with the hurricane tunes. No snow around my place so no way of testing. Heading on a trip next weekend and really don’t want to run into issues. I will be running the hurricane 270 race tune I wonder if I should just put the secondary back to stock or look at getting a different helix? I am running a 1.6” track on my sled.

What I know about clutches you could fit in a thimble. I have the Thunder Products secondary Helix 33/35 with the new rollers and the Thunder Products spring. Its set in the 3 & 3 holes. So now we are saying it should be in 2 & 3? Is this crucial as Im heading out to Maine for a trip next week and would need to find someone to adjust. Ive only managed 92 miles since the new secondary went on.
I have 417 miles on my new 18 Winder. I Have a 33/35 helix, heavy duty rollers and Daltons Black/Orange Secondary spring in mine, and it's set at 3-3, and So far it's been very very good, Very Silky feeling. Your Thunder Products Spring might be stiffer than My Dalton Black/Orange, so I don't know if that will make a huge difference??? But like Shagman said...you should be fine.

Good morning (updated)
Just shooting all a note on the orange secondary spring.
I have not blown a belt but I don’t run as hard as some people. I was wrapped at 3 3
I changed to 2 3 and I am up north now trying it.
I have 1000 miles on overall and was getting what seemed to be a lot of belt dust.
I am running TP clutching wit TD flash. Powertrail with CAI and TD muffler
Just made two lake runs and I am hitting the rev limiter at 9500.
The clutch setup for weight is what Lon told me to start with. Here is the data on my first setup.
============
Heal 3/4 set screw
Middle 3/8 hex head screw
Tip 7/16 hex head with 1 thick washer

Any recommendations on weights would be helpful!

Need to add weight to the tip bud. You have the hardware with you to change?

Set your secondary at 2-3, 50 degrees.Reading about all these belt blowing issues with the orange spring, 33/35 helix has me worried to run mine with the hurricane tunes. So, are you saying your RPMs changed (too high) now with TP orange secondary spring at 2-3? Is the change from 3-3 the only one you made it is this the first time you tried the entire set up?Good morning

You go ask any proffesional racer in MX,XC,SX,Superbike and many others about it. Thousand are spent to get rid of engine braking for many reasons. And all make you faster in those disciplines. He's not saying he's not using the brake, quite the opposite and using too much brake.
What Dan means is you could run the Apex's and 1200 Doo's faster thru the corners when we had extreme engine braking, the SideWinder needs more engine braking as not to have to use the brake all the time. And I agree. I can also drive faster and in better control with a whole bunch more engine braking.
IMO these thing need way, way more engine braking. I hate having to use the brake all the time!
Rocker Dan if you are using the brake more believe me you are in fact going faster than before. Guaranteed.

that was the only change I made. I am not positive that that raised the rpms as I am just starting to open it up. Have not had wide open space to do that until todaySo, are you saying your RPMs changed (too high) now with TP orange secondary spring at 2-3?
